Standing
Committee Chairwomen.
Auction/Dinner: The Annual Holiday Dinner &
Auction, the largest fundraiser for Xavier. There
is something for every talent and schedule.
Awareness: Work with the Xavier Counseling department
to develop programs which will be presented to students
and/or parents throughout the school year.
Baccalaureate Reception: This committee prepares
a reception for Seniors and their
parents after the Baccalaureate Mass celebrated in the
spring prior to Graduation.
Coffee and Catholicism (formerly Book Club:) Bring you own coffee every Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. to Father Muir's office. Learn more about your faith and how it can help improve your parenting skills.
Box
Office: Assist in selling tickets the week prior and the night of events in Xavier’s
Performing
Arts
Center

CTODP: Actively participate in promoting and soliciting CTODP-Xavier
to the Xavier Community by becoming a committee member.

8th Grade Dessert Parties: Host
a fall social in your home.
Current

8th graders and their parents attend these
socials to learn more about Xavier.
Fashion
Show: Xavier’s spring scholarship fundraiser
is a fabulous Fashion Show and Luncheon. Preparations
include decorations, raffle and working with XCP and BCP
seniors.
Gear
X-Change: Be the first to see the fabulous
merchandise (and find your daughter’s size!) in the Gear
X-Change retail shop in the PAC building. There
are also opportunities to assist with sportswear sales
at Xavier events.
General
Volunteer: If you are
not sure what committee might suit you, sign up as a general
volunteer (and God bless you!)
Get
Acquainted Socials: Host and assist
with fall socials that welcome incoming Freshwomen’s parents to Xavier.
Hospitality: Assist with hospitality at events throughout the year.
Phantom
Tea: Assist Chair with mailing invitations
to this unique “faux” event/fundraiser.
Project
Graduation: Help plan and
coordinate a big XCP/BCP all night party to allow the
seniors from both schools to celebrate graduation in fun
and safe environment. Work the night of the event
and/or assist in the planning-this grand finale receives
rave reviews each year from students and parents. Dads are encouraged to participate!
Senior
Moms: Share in camaraderie with other
Senior Moms by providing and distributing treats to seniors
four times a year.
Teacher
Appreciation Lunch: Get to
know the amazing Xavier Staff by assisting with the December
appreciation luncheon, which demonstrates the gratitude
of all Xavier families toward our faculty and staff.
Transportation: Compiles carpool requests by zip code.
Welcoming: Assist in calling new Xavier families to welcome them
with a friendly voice and answer questions they might
have prior to their daughter’s Freshwomen year.
Xavier
S.H.O.P.S. (Scholarships
Hold Opportunities, Promises & Success): Assist
in selling and promoting the Guild’s Scrip program which
raises money for the Xavier Scholarship Fund. Openings
exist on Tuesday mornings, Thursday afternoons and at
special events.
